Kelsey Olson, Sports Broadcaster

KO is a professional sports broadcaster based in California’s Monterey Bay Area.  KO earned her sports reporting credentials with trackside interviews on dirt ovals, sideline and post game interviews of high school sports for local television, and seasonal coverage of regional pro sports, including the Sharks, Giants, A’s, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors and NASCAR.

As a morning commute radio sports reporter, KO writes and produces six live reports daily, providing commute listeners with a broad range of sports coverage.  With facts, statistics, and quick-witted commentary that includes regular doses of her famous “crime-in-sports” segments, KO uses her years of on-air experience both to inform avid sports fans and entertain those who have never watched a game.  KO covers the complete range of sports, from Little League to the Bigs, with the enthusiasm of a true sports fan.  She has established herself as one of the industry’s brightest young talents by providing coverage that is exciting and genuinely fun.  She believes coverage of the MLB is not complete without the occasional Yogi Berism, and all sports should be covered from a range of different perspectives.

In addition to her sports broadcasting, KO is an aspiring novelist with works-in-progress.  When not on-air, writing or volunteering with various community groups like the Lions Club, KO is traveling, learning to fly helicopters, and looking for the next great adventure.
