Advertiser’s Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a Radio Question-of-the-Day sponsorship? The sponsorship is two-part advertisement:  (1) a recorded commercial embedded in the daily two-minute Question-of-the-Day on affiliated radio stations throughout the U.S.;  (2) a responsive web banner on the polling page served by all affiliated radio stations.

2. How much does a Question-of-the-Day sponsorship cost? Rates for sponsorships are determined by (1) the number of radio stations that carry each feature; (2) the number of people who view your web banner, and the market.  For current rates, contact advertising support.

3. How many Question-of-the-Day features are available? Daily sponsorships are available for Food, Sports, Politics and The Bible Questions-of-the-Day.

4. How does a MultiMedia Minutes Question-of-the-Day sponsorship work?  Sponsorships reach prospective customers two ways:  (1) Each QOTD captures and holds attention with a non-partisan story and question about news of intense interest.  Since your radio commercial is embedded within the feature, prospects will hear your message.  (2) When customers go the polling page to answer the daily QOTD, and learn how the previous day’s QOTD was answered, they will see your banner offering and respond directly to you.

5.  What is a “a non-partisan question about a controversial issue.”  People are now exposed to thousands of commercial messages every day, making it extremely difficult to get a message across to prospective customers. Radio Questions-of-the-Day cut through the clutter by presenting controversial issues as non-partisan questions that capture and hold attention without taking sides.  Advertisers get the benefit of reaching an audience that is targeted, attentive and responsive, without offending anyone.

6.  Who will hear and see my message? By selecting from Food, Sports, Politics, or Bible Questions-of-the-Day, you can target your message to those most likely to buy on radio and internet.

7.  How many prospective customers will I reach? The number of prospective customers you reach and the number of times you reach them are determined by:  (1) the sponsorship plan you select; (2) the number of radio stations that carry your QOTD feature(s); (3) the time of day each radio station carries your feature(s); (4) and the number of people who visit your feature’s polling page every day. For current estimates, please email advertising support.

8.  Will my sponsorship be measurable? Both the radio and internet elements of your Radio Question-of-the-Day sponsorship can be measured with metrics that are extremely valuable in developing your commercial messages.

Radio: Radio Questions-of-the-Day will generate total audience estimates for each sponsorship by tracking the number of radio stations that carry the feature and the times each feature is carried.  These estimates will be generated from existing measuring services when available.

Internet:  Radio Questions-of-the-Day will track how many people see your web banner on the QOTD polling page.  By using your web diagnostics, you can measure how many people respond to your banner offering each day.  (By comparing the total number of people who see your offering to the number who respond to that offering, you can refine your offerings to generate the best direct response rate.)

9.  What sponsorship materials will I have to provide? Sponsors provide a 30-second to 60-second recorded radio commercial and a web banner, please contact advertising support for details and specifications.

10.  Will Radio Question-of-the-Day assist with the production of a radio commercial and / or web banner Radio Question-of-the-Day staff of seasoned media professionals is available to produce radio commercials and web banners.

11.  How do I make changes to my radio commercial, website banner, and feature? All of the elements in a QOTD sponsorship are readily changeable, but do require advanced notice.

13.  Can I get an exclusive for my business, product or service?

14. Must I advertise on both radio and internet? We believe the combination of related messages on two mediums, instead of one, will increase the efficacy of the sponsorship. However, MultiMedia Minutes is open to discuss all business proposals.
